Offering therapy services for adolescents and adults in and around Marlow, England
Group therapy can be very powerful because we can learn from each other. Being in a group challenges you in many ways and pushes you to examine your internal family system and beliefs. Who are you in the group, and who do you become?
Working experientially in groups offers a supportive, nurturing and therapeutic environment for you to express your truth, empathetically and assertively.
Group work in various forms helps address a wide range of needs, from providing information about yourself and how you are perceived in the group to improving social and interpersonal skills and offering coping strategies.
You will learn more about yourself, your identities, roles and inferences in groups because you will be mirrored, validated and reassured. You will be seen, heard, and valued as like-minded people come together as one.
Your needs can be met when you belong, are held, and are valued as a participating member in a group relationship.
If working in a group is for you, please get in touch with me for more details, or complete the booking form and online working contract below.

Reviews
“I would change nothing. It was such a wonderful collaboration of sensitive and empathetic people whom shared their own experiences amongst others. The counselor was phenomenal and I look forward to attending next week’s group. ”
“This was my first time participating in a group session. I think the therapist did a really good job. But I did not feel comfortable participating with the other attendants.”
“I thought it was superb group session. Patch held space for all participants and was considerate, supportive and informative. She has made me reflect.”
“The clarity of the information and the facilitators ability to respond to each person’s sharing so appropriately. So appreciated her compassion and honesty.”
“I love the group sessions with Patch. I’ve joined several of them over the last 6months. She had so much helpful advice. I’ve really learned a lot about myself, being a HSP and how to deal with it. The groups were always nice and respectful. It was great to be able to share with and hear other HSPs.”
“I like that there is opportunity to change and grow. I love how the therapist explains and shares. I have had groups where the therapist was asking questions and felt like I was in school. I really like Patch’s approach. Would not change anything, but I really welcome tools and book suggestions.”
“This group session was helpful. It was nice that the therapist offered strategies but also opened the discussion for the participants to offer insight.”
“Like there is no pressure and your not put on the spot. I want to listen for a bit before sharing my trauma. Its a trust thing for me.”
Please note the cancellation policy. If you miss your scheduled therapy appointment without at least 24 hours’ notice, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session. Please note that group bookings are non-refundable.
