Offering therapy services for adolescents and adults in and around Marlow, England
Supervision is an essential part of best practice for counsellors. As a lone worker, a therapist/counsellor needs supervision to support their practice. Thus, counselling supervision is vital for supporting your professional and ethical practice.
Supervision provides a safe space for therapists/counsellors to explore challenges in private practice. It is good practice to identify areas for improvement and receive constructive feedback. Counsellors can use this space to reflect on and share experiences and the impact of their work with clients.
I aim to be supportive and to facilitate a safe, trusting environment where you can discuss your challenges and explore your concerns as a practitioner. I will help you explore ethical dilemmas and safeguarding issues, and navigate complex situations to uphold best practice and professional standards.
I will encourage self-awareness to help you deepen your understanding of your values, beliefs, and biases, and how they may influence your practice. I will promote continual professional development to keep your knowledge up to date with current psychological information and relevant legislation. It is essential to maintain professional boundaries and safe working practices with the clients you bring to supervision, and to help you develop and identify risks as a counsellor.

As an accredited member of the NCPS and MBACP, I can support your private practice by helping you understand the legal framework and ethical principles that govern your clinical practice.
As an Integrative and Trauma-Informed Supervisor, I help you streamline your private practice, offering guidance and a safe space to share your challenges.
I offer empathetic support to help you navigate ethical practice by providing a reflective space for self-analysis and fostering a therapeutic alliance to help you flourish as a therapist. I provide a safe, non-judgemental, reflective space where supervisees can openly explore your client work, professional challenges, emotional responses, ethical dilemmas, transference and countertransference, and how your own experiences affect the therapeutic relationship.
Supervision is therapeutic support for counsellors and part of our Continuous Professional Development and ethical framework. It is also a therapeutic alliance, as you bring your clients into supervision and process and evaluate your clinical practice.
As an Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Psychospiritual Therapist, I build rapport and establish a therapeutic alliance so you can thrive as a counsellor.
My philosophy: Supervision is a space to reflect, explore, learn and grow — where we can be curious, challenge assumptions, embrace vulnerability and develop greater confidence and authenticity as therapeutic practitioners.
